Baom is the project of Hamburg based music producer Johannes. After discovering psytrance and roaming numerous parties and festivals from 2016 onwards he came to realize the importance of the Chillout as the counterpart to all the  crazy, twisted and dark sounds of the faster BPMs. Wanting to contribute to the Chillout Scene afterwards he soon began producing his own downtempo tracks and his music collection grew. In 2023 he got the chance to play his own productions at a festival for the first time which were followed soon after by more parties in clubs and eventually his first gig outside of germany. A year later he joined the music crew Hello Darkness in his hometown where he began contributing even more to the scene by organising dark psychedelic trance events in clubs and open air.
 

His music reflects his love of nature by capturing strange natural phenomena, twisting and turning them until they transform into playful, hypnotic melodies and driving baselines. Technical sound artifacts often remain as by-products of this metamorphosis. As a whole, the interplay of these elements mirrors the contrast of the world around you - light and shadow, organic and artificial, smooth and harsh, shallow highs and punchy lows.

This blend takes you on a cosmic journey through deep forests, lush meadows and swamps full of life - it carries you into the far reaches of space, past fading stars and through cosmic clouds.
